Salary: Up to $150,000 per year
A high-end residential landscaping firm is seeking an experienced Landscape Architect to take the lead in designing and delivering outstanding outdoor living spaces. This role offers full project ownership, from concept through completion, working directly with discerning clients to create landscapes that combine beauty, function, and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand their vision, lifestyle, and budget.
- Develop creative, functional, and sustainable landscape designs tailored to residential properties.
- Prepare detailed site plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and construction documents.
- Select plants, materials, and finishes to enhance design and meet environmental considerations.
- Collaborate with project managers, construction teams, and subcontractors to ensure seamless delivery.
- Oversee projects during installation, ensuring design integrity and quality standards are maintained.
- Ensure all work complies with zoning regulations, environmental guidelines, and safety standards.
Experience & Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field (license preferred).
- 5+ years' experience in residential landscape design and project management.
- Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of plants, hardscapes, grading, drainage, and construction methods.
- Excellent client-facing communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
