About the Role
We are seeking a seasoned Jacket Structural Superintendent to oversee fabrication and construction activities related to offshore jacket structures. This is a site-based role that will be initially located at an international EPC contractor’s premises in China for the full EPC execution period. You may later transition to Doha for the offshore hook-up phase.

The role includes close interface with project teams across different locations and requires regular visits to subcontractor yards during the pre-fabrication phase. If you are experienced in offshore EPCIC projects and capable of working in high-paced, multicultural environments, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a major infrastructure initiative.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and coordinate structural fabrication and construction of offshore jackets

  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety standards and international codes

  • Liaise with EPC contractors and subcontractors to ensure quality and schedule targets are met

  • Conduct regular inspections, reviews and ensure readiness for pre-commissioning and hook-up phases

  • Support planning and progress monitoring, issue resolution, and reporting activities

  • Supervise works at subcontractor yards and ensure fabrication is in line with project milestones

  • Support mobilisation and offshore hook-up preparations during final project stages

Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or company-recognised equivalent

  • Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including 10 years in structural roles on offshore EPCIC projects

  • Solid experience in fabrication yards and construction site environments

  • Strong understanding of applicable standards (AWS, API, ISO, ASTM, NACE, SSPC)

  • Familiarity with international oil and gas construction practices and quality procedures

  • Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills

  • Proficient in standard office software; familiarity with PRODOM or MANASA is an advantage

  • Must hold valid H2S OPITO and T-BOSIET certifications

  • English language fluency required
