28x28 rotation (offshore)

Qatar Onshore / China / Qatar Offshore
Must be willing to relocate based on project needs.
Contract Duration:
December 2025 to April 2027 (with possible extension)
About the Role:
We are seeking a Jacket Coating Superintendent to manage coating, painting, insulation, and passive fire protection activities for large offshore construction projects. The role involves supervision of fabrication yard operations, ensuring quality control, and maintaining compliance with international standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate quality control and inspection activities related to coating, painting, insulation, and fire protection.
- Lead progress meetings with contractors and fabrication teams.
- Review and approve inspection and quality documents.
- Validate coating systems and operator qualifications.
- Monitor progress and issue NCRs and QERs where required.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support engineering and QA/QC teams in technical matters.
- Oversee final documentation and assist with project close-out.
- Manage transition from fabrication to offshore installation.
Requirements:
- HND/BTS or equivalent in engineering.
- Level III Coating certification (NACE, SSPC, AMPP, or FROSIO Red Card).
- 15 years total experience, 10 years in major oil and gas or offshore projects.
- Experience in coating, painting, insulation, and fire protection for platforms and piping.
- Strong knowledge of EN, ISO, ASTM, NACE, and SSPC standards.
- Good leadership, communication, and computer skills.
- Fabrication yard experience preferred.
- Fluent in English.
