Job Title: IT SaaS Procurement Specialist

Overview
A leading global energy organisation is seeking an experienced IT SaaS Procurement Specialist to support the acquisition and optimisation of digital solutions within a dynamic international environment.

This role focuses on sourcing and managing software and SaaS solutions that support critical business functions such as Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and Logistics. The position offers the opportunity to work across global teams, driving strategic procurement initiatives and delivering value through effective vendor management and negotiation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead market analysis and vendor evaluations for digital and SaaS solutions

  • Manage end-to-end RFP and RFI processes aligned with business and technical requirements

  • Conduct supplier due diligence, risk assessments, and compliance checks

  • Develop and present business cases and recommendations to stakeholders

  • Optimise procurement processes and improve efficiency across global operations

  • Ensure adherence to governance, compliance, and IT security standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Digital, IT Security, Legal, Finance, HSE, and Logistics

  • Lead contract negotiations for software licences and SaaS agreements

  • Manage contract lifecycle including renewals, performance, and compliance

  • Monitor vendor performance, service levels, and return on investment

  • Support change management and implementation of new digital solutions

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in IT software or SaaS procurement

  • Strong knowledge of software licensing models and SaaS subscription frameworks

  • Experience in digital procurement processes and vendor risk management

  • Understanding of digital tools supporting HSE and Logistics functions is advantageous

  • Proven experience managing complex, multi-country procurement projects

  • Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, international environment

  • Excellent communication and analytical skills

Working Arrangement

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday

  • On-site role based in Paris, France

Contract Details

  • 12-month contract, renewable annually

  • Start date: ASAP
