IT Product Owner

We’re working with a leading organisation on a pivotal opportunity for an experienced Business Analyst or Product Owner to help shape and deliver innovative software solutions. About the Role
This role serves as the bridge between IT development teams and business stakeholders, driving the implementation of new systems and enhancements to existing ones. You’ll play a key role in ensuring product delivery aligns with customer needs and adds measurable value, all within an agile environment.
Key Responsibilities

Act as the agile Product Owner on software development projects, ensuring alignment with business needs and agile practices

Lead requirement-gathering, validation, and data analysis to support informed business decisions

Evaluate new applications and system requirements, providing strategic input on potential solutions

Coordinate efforts between internal teams, vendors, and stakeholders to define and design data architectures and solutions

Support the creation of strategic roadmaps and change portfolios aligned with business objectives

Create and deliver conceptual, logical, and physical process and data models

Provide tailored reporting and insights to support business operations and customer requirements

Build strong relationships across departments to foster collaboration and ensure stakeholder engagement

Use sound judgement to manage priorities, solve complex challenges, and guide less experienced team members where needed
Skills and Experience Required

Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline and proven experience in a Business Analyst or Product Owner role

Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred

Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex ideas clearly across both technical and non-technical audiences

Strong stakeholder management, relationship building, and emotional intelligence

High attention to detail, organisational capability, and ability to manage competing priorities

Demonstrated experience with business process modelling and understanding data quality and governance

Comfortable working in dynamic environments with shifting priorities and deadlines
