Job Title: IPT Defence and Security Manager
Location: Gentofte, Copenhagen, Denmark (2–3 days in office per week)
Assignment Length: Initial contract until 30 November 2025, with potential extension
Assignment Type: Contract
Work Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, 7.5 hours per day

About the Role
An experienced Defence and Security professional is required to join a high-impact offshore wind construction project. This role sits within a cross-border Joint Venture team and focuses on ensuring technical and regulatory compliance with defence authorities, including the armed forces and border guard, while also supporting wider security scope initiatives.

The role offers the chance to work at the cutting edge of offshore energy and national infrastructure integration, developing solutions that allow coexistence between critical infrastructure and military requirements in a dynamic and complex environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical scope related to defence compliance and manage ongoing engagement with national defence stakeholders

  • Oversee the procurement, engineering, and construction of defence-related infrastructure and solutions

  • Manage interfaces with other project packages to ensure full integration of defence scope

  • Develop service and maintenance strategies to ensure ongoing compliance through operations, including staff training

  • Support the identification and documentation of compliance with national critical infrastructure regulations, including cyber, information, and physical security

  • Contribute to strategic discussions around secure offshore wind deployment in collaboration with internal teams

  • Travel to Warsaw expected up to four days per month

  • Presence at the Gentofte office required 2–3 days per week

Requirements

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in project management within a regulated or technical environment

  • Strong understanding of compliance, regulatory frameworks, and critical infrastructure requirements

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to operate across multiple organisations and cultures

  • Demonstrated capability in managing complex technical scopes and delivering against timelines

  • Background in defence, ideally as a former naval officer or with equivalent relevant experience

  • Skilled in risk management and mitigation

Practical Requirements

  • Availability to be based in Gentofte 2–3 days per week

  • Willingness to travel to Warsaw regularly (up to 4 days per month)
