Role Overview:
The Technician will be responsible for scheduling and executing maintenance activities to ensure efficient resource use and maximise maintenance opportunities during planned outages. The role supports plant performance and compliance with statutory and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Schedule maintenance to optimise resources and align with planned outages

Deliver maintenance to meet or exceed business KPIs

Assist in maintaining compliance with legislation and company standards

Analyse plant issues and provide expert technical advice to support maintenance decision-making

Manage contracts and contractors, ensuring safety and progress against targets

Support initiatives to improve plant performance
Requirements:

HNC, ONC or equivalent qualification in a relevant engineering discipline

Experience in power generation or a similar industry

Proven ability to manage contractors to ensure safe, timely completion of tasks

Flexible attitude with availability for occasional out-of-hours support

Ability to work effectively both within a team and independently
