Job Title: Mechanical Integrity Engineer

About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Integrity Engineer to provide specialist support in mechanical, corrosion, inspection, and materials engineering for a large-scale refinery and petrochemical environment. This role plays a vital part in ensuring the integrity and safe operation of fixed equipment assets while driving compliance, reliability, and technical excellence.
Key Responsibilities

Provide engineering expertise to manage the mechanical integrity of fixed equipment.

Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, codes, and standards through written schemes of examination.

Act as a technical advisor, supporting business teams with risk-based decision making, management of change, and owner’s engineering activities.

Assess equipment condition in the field and define repair scopes for fixed equipment.

Develop worklists for shutdowns/turnarounds and contribute to safe, reliable operations.

Mentor and support junior engineers, sharing expertise in mechanical integrity and corrosion management.
Requirements

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

Proven experience in mechanical integrity, corrosion, inspection, and/or materials engineering within oil & gas, refining, or petrochemicals.

Strong knowledge of pressure systems, legislation, and written schemes of examination.

Ability to assess equipment condition and recommend technical solutions.

Strong communication and advisory skills, with experience mentoring engineers.
