About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Inspection Engineer to join our Asset Integrity team. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in risk-based inspection (RBI), integrity management, and materials/corrosion engineering for fixed equipment and piping. You will act as a subject matter expert, lead key inspection initiatives, and ensure compliance, safety, and reliability across plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for RBI, integrity management, and materials/corrosion issues related to fixed equipment and piping.

  • Define and implement RBI or integrity programmes within chemical plant or refinery environments.

  • Interact with regulatory authorities and company leadership to ensure compliance and operational excellence.

  • Enhance the effectiveness of inspection procedures and implement best practices.

  • Lead the training and technical development of inspection teams.

  • Drive the implementation of new inspection standards and ensure adherence to existing ones.

  • Share learnings, best practices, and incident insights across sites, industry bodies, and internal teams.

Desired Career Background
Candidates should have experience in one or more of the following roles:

  • Lead or Senior Inspection Engineer

  • Inspection Group Leader or Manager

  • Materials, Corrosion, Mechanical, or Maintenance/Plant Engineer (site or central)

  • Engineer on a major project

  • QA Manager on a major project

  • Reliability or Fixed Equipment Engineer

  • Inspection Section Supervisor

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Metallurgy, or a related engineering discipline.

  • Proven experience in inspection and integrity management within oil & gas, refining, or petrochemicals.

  • Strong knowledge of RBI methodology, codes, and standards.

  • Leadership experience in mentoring and guiding inspection professionals.

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
