Position Title: System Administrator (ICAPS)

Job Purpose:
The System Administrator (ICAPS) will manage and maintain the system completions database, ensuring accurate tracking and readiness of subsystems, inspection records, punch lists, and work packs for a major offshore energy project. The role ensures all data and documentation are prepared and coordinated to meet technical and operational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and update the ICAPS database for construction and commissioning system completions.
- Own the system completions workflow process across the project scope.
- Transfer Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) punch items to ICAPS ahead of Ready for Commissioning (RFC) milestones.
- Assign punch list categories correctly in the system.
- Prepare RFC and Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) dossiers.
- Coordinate with multiple contractors and stakeholders to ensure database consistency and deliverable readiness.
- Ensure readiness of certification packages, spare parts, special tools, and operational handover documentation.
- Provide clear updates on dossier status, punch list progress, and Inspection Test Record tracking to commissioning leadership.
- Participate in construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning meetings to monitor subsystem priorities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Applied Sciences.
Experience:
- 8+ years in medium to large oil and gas projects.
- Familiarity with project workflows from preparation through execution across fabrication yards, onshore and offshore sites.
- Expertise in reading P&IDs, datasheets, GA drawings, and project procedures.
- Knowledge of commissioning standards, technical specifications, and code compliance.
- Proven track record managing EPC contractor interfaces, including vendor coordination.
- Experience developing and managing ITRs, punch lists, completions databases, certification workflows, and progress tracking.
- Familiarity with LNG systems such as compressors, power generation, topsides, and control systems.
- Experience with system completions databases (e.g. ICAPS) and OPERCOM methodology is highly preferred.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in MS Office and ICAPS.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Computer literate with ability to use both office and technical applications.
- Able to work effectively within a project management team and coordinate with contractors to extract required data.
