HR Business Partner

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to support a dynamic operating centre through strategic and hands-on HR leadership. This role blends advisory responsibilities with operational HR delivery, driving performance, compliance, and people development across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic HR partner to understand and advise on short, medium, and long-term business needs

  • Provide expert advice to managers and employees on HR policies, employment legislation, and best practices

  • Build strong relationships with local management teams, employees, and key stakeholders

  • Lead and support HR operations and the implementation of people-related initiatives at the site

  • Identify gaps in processes and drive improvements to enhance performance and reduce risk

  • Collaborate with HR Centres of Expertise and line managers to deliver and embed HR processes and campaigns

  • Manage local Total Rewards matters, including payroll review and process checks

  • Support international mobility processes and ensure policy adherence when applicable

  • Lead or contribute to people development initiatives and introduce effective leadership tools where relevant

  • Ensure compliance with local labour laws and social security regulations

  • Handle industrial relations issues for the operating centre when required

  • Maintain accurate HR data across systems and tools

  • Carry out other HR-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or equivalent (HR-focused qualifications preferred)

  • At least 10 years of experience in HR generalist roles or as a business partner to operational teams

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to listen, influence, and advise

  • Excellent presentation, planning, and organisational skills

  • High attention to detail and a structured approach to work

  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

  • Experience in a multinational environment is essential; regional experience is an advantage
