Role Overview
The HSE Consultant will support the development and implementation of health, safety, and environmental policies across onshore energy operations. This includes ensuring compliance with U.S. regulations, supporting risk mitigation strategies, and promoting a culture of safety and sustainability across all project phases.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct HSE audits and inspections across onshore operational sites.
- Develop and enforce HSE policies in line with OSHA, EPA, and state-specific regulations.
- Prepare Environmental Impact Assessments, Hazard Reports, and Emergency Response Plans.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and local communities on environmental and safety matters.
- Monitor corrective actions and ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Support incident investigations and root cause analysis using industry-standard tools.
- Deliver HSE training and awareness sessions to site personnel.
- Participate in technical meetings and contribute to safety engineering discussions.
- Maintain HSE documentation and risk registers in collaboration with project teams.
Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum 5 years of HSE experience in onshore energy, renewables, or oil & gas sectors.
- Recognised certifications in ISO auditing, incident investigation, and emergency response.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. HSE regulations and permitting processes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
