Human Resources Manager

Location: Curaçao

About the Role

A leading organisation in the energy and industrial services sector is seeking a seasoned Human Resources Manager to drive transformation and lead HR operations at their Curaçao site. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker with hands-on experience in fast-paced industries such as Oil & Gas, engineering, or industrial services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee all core HR functions: recruitment, performance management, L&D, compensation & benefits, and compliance
  • Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business priorities
  • Partner with leadership on workforce planning, talent development, and organisational design
  • Lead change management and employee engagement initiatives
  • Ensure adherence to local labour laws and health & safety standards
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and high-performing workplace culture
  • Implement HR analytics tools for effective reporting and decision-making
  • Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary procedures
  • Maintain and optimise HR systems, policies, and data integrity
  • Liaise with regional/global HR teams to ensure process alignment

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's or HR certifications a plus)
  • Minimum 7 years' HR experience, including 3+ in a management role
  • Industry experience in Oil & Gas, engineering, or industrial sectors preferred
  • Proven success in organisational change and cultural transformation
  • Strong grasp of employment law in Curaçao or the Dutch Caribbean
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluency in English required; Dutch or Papiamentu a strong asset
  • Comfortable working with HRIS systems and data-led approaches
