Overview
We are seeking High Voltage Field Test Technicians to perform commissioning and maintenance testing on High Voltage (HV) and Extra High Voltage (EHV) AC and DC cable systems. All work will be carried out in compliance with industry and international testing standards.
The role combines site-based work across Germany, occasional travel to other European countries, and remote work for reporting and planning.
Key Responsibilities

Conduct commissioning and maintenance testing on HV and EHV AC and DC cable systems in compliance with industry and international standards

Execute field testing and diagnosis of HV cable systems

Develop and implement new techniques for High Voltage testing and diagnosis on HV and EHV AC and DC systems

Analyse Partial Discharge data for offline commissioning and maintenance testing

Analyse Partial Discharge data for online diagnostic techniques using analysis tools

Compile technical test reports with recommendations based on analysed data

Operate and provide support for testing and monitoring systems
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

Diploma, HNC, or HND in a relevant engineering or technical discipline

Good understanding of High Voltage testing techniques

Valid driver’s licence

Ability to travel up to 70% of the time
