Head of Business Development

Location: Qatar

Role Purpose

Lead and drive business development strategies to expand the company’s portfolio by exploring local, regional, and international market opportunities. Ensure alignment of business strategies with organizational goals and develop a robust customer base.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 8 years’ sales experience; manufacturing/steel industry preferred.

  • Strong knowledge of plant/process specifications and process calculations.

  • Proven supervisory and people management skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and build relationships with regional partners and potential customers.

  • Lead business growth initiatives aligned with commercial strategy.

  • Attend industry events to network and develop new business.

  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and operations for customer satisfaction and retention.

  • Oversee local/regional teams and lead decision-making on business development.

  • Manage client databases and negotiate pricing to secure competitive deals.

  • Incorporate client feedback to improve products and services.

  • Stay updated on steel manufacturing trends to maintain market relevance.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement in business processes and sustainability.
