We are partnering with a globally recognised consultancy that delivers expert economic and business advisory services across the energy sector. As part of its continued growth in the low-carbon and energy transition space, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Energy Economic Advisor to join the London team.

This is a dynamic role, ideal for a professional with deep energy sector experience and a passion for shaping the future of clean energy. You will be working on high-impact projects across hydrogen, carbon capture and storage (CCS), and broader decarbonisation initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct techno-economic assessments of emerging and established energy technologies.

  • Analyse key datasets to produce insights for internal stakeholders, investors, industry executives, and public sector clients.

  • Provide thought leadership through the production of innovative research and market analysis.

  • Contribute to business development by supporting proposal writing and identifying new opportunities in the energy transition space.

  • Participate in and lead meetings with industry experts and key decision-makers.

  • Mentor and coach junior team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Support marketing and thought leadership efforts through the development of content and participation in industry events.

  • Continuously improve internal methodologies, tools, and processes to enhance delivery efficiency and value.


About You

  • A strong track record in the energy industry, ideally with a blend of consultancy and technical/engineering roles.

  • Degree qualified in Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

  • Deep experience in management consulting, particularly with early-stage feasibility and techno-economic studies.

  • Commercially astute, with the ability to communicate complex insights clearly and persuasively to clients and stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated ability to work across multidisciplinary teams and manage client expectations.

  • A passion for the energy transition and the ability to think strategically about industry challenges and solutions.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset and a commitment to developing those around you.
