Emergency Response Lead
Location: Doha (with visits to onshore/offshore sites)
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain corporate governance for emergency management covering mitigation, preparedness, response, recovery, and resilience.
- Ensure oil spill emergency preparedness complies with legislation, conventions, and standards.
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) in crisis management, business continuity, and risk mitigation.
- Evaluate and assure emergency response plans across all QP directorates and departments.
- Define competency requirements and training programs for emergency response teams.
- Monitor, assess, and report on emergency preparedness performance.
- Support development of recovery strategies and collaborate with business continuity teams.
- Lead technical reviews of mutual aid arrangements and corporate HSE audits.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or Emergency Management.
- Minimum 15 years' experience in emergency management, fire safety, or occupational health & safety-preferably in oil, gas, chemical, or petrochemical industries.
- At least 10 years in a similar leadership role.
- Strong knowledge of emergency preparedness, crisis management, and business continuity in the energy sector.
- Excellent English presentation, report writing, and Microsoft Office skills.
