Job Title: Electrical Technician – Shift Work – London

Key Responsibilities:

Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on electrical equipment including switchgear, transformers, motors, batteries, UPS systems, MCCs, and control panels

Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new electrical systems

Diagnose and resolve faults on PLCs, variable frequency drives, pneumatics, and wider automation equipment

Support continuous improvement initiatives and ensure high equipment reliability across heavy industrial processes

Work on a rotating shift pattern with occasional overtime and on-call responsibilities
Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 or equivalent trade qualification in Electrical Engineering

Strong electrical background in heavy industry, utilities, process plants, or similar environments

Experience with troubleshooting, planned maintenance, and complex electrical installations

Hands-on knowledge of MCCs, PLCs, drives, pneumatics, switchgear, and transformers

Ability to work effectively on rotating shifts

2 Days / 3 Nights / 4 Off

3 Days / 2 Nights / 4 Off

Typical hours: 6am–6pm / 6pm–6am
