Job Title: Electrical Supervisor
Location: Offshore, Qatar (Rotation: 28 days on / 28 days off)
Contract Type: Fixed-term assignment
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and coordinate offshore Brownfield, Hook-up, and Shutdown electrical activities for a major industrial facility. The successful candidate will ensure safe, high-quality, and compliant execution while supervising contractors and subcontractors during offshore operations. This role involves coordination with onshore teams and operational personnel to deliver efficient offshore execution and commissioning.
Reporting and Relationships:

Reports to Offshore Site Representative.

Direct reports include Onshore Electrical Brownfield & Hook-up Specialists.

Frequent internal collaboration with Quality, HSE, Completion & Commissioning Leads, and maintenance teams.

Regular external interaction with EPC contractors and operational support teams offshore.
Key Responsibilities:

Ensure strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational protocols during offshore execution.

Coordinate and oversee offshore Brownfield and Hook-up execution, including commissioning, to meet project objectives.

Supervise contractor and subcontractor activities to ensure compliance with contractual requirements, project documentation, and international standards.

Verify constructability and technical compliance of deliverables provided by engineering and contractor teams.

Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving issues or deviations.

Liaise with contractors and stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely reporting.

Conduct and supervise Permit to Work (PTW) meetings; ensure contractor compliance with approved methods and job safety analyses.

Identify and report any discipline-related concerns or non-compliance to line management.

Promote a positive safety culture during offshore execution; monitor and close all safety actions within scope.

Participate in lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:

Higher National Diploma (HND) or equivalent in Electrical or Engineering discipline.
Experience and Skills:

Minimum 8 years’ experience in construction-related disciplines within the oil and gas or heavy industrial sector, including offshore projects.

Experience with large-scale Brownfield, Hook-up, and commissioning activities.

Strong knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria relevant to offshore fabrication, transport, installation, and execution.

Experience coordinating offshore contractors, service providers, and multi-discipline teams.

Familiarity with offshore facilities, operational environments, and execution risks associated with industrial facilities.

Ability to work effectively in large-scale operational organisations and coordinate multiple internal and external interfaces.
