Project Overview:
We are supporting a critical offshore generator replacement project and are looking for an experienced Electrical Field Service Engineer (FSE) to lead commissioning and start-up activities on an offshore platform. The mobilisation is expected to last around three weeks, starting between August and September 2025.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong commissioning expertise and a solid understanding of generator systems, ideally with past experience working on platforms or in similarly high-pressure offshore environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical commissioning and start-up for a generator swap project

  • Ensure safe, compliant execution of offshore activities

  • Troubleshoot electrical and control systems during installation and commissioning

  • Work collaboratively with project stakeholders and site teams

  • Maintain clear technical documentation throughout commissioning

Candidate Profile:

  • Strong electrical commissioning background in offshore or industrial settings

  • Experience with generator systems and rotating equipment

  • Familiarity with Brush or Baker Hughes systems is advantageous

  • Valid offshore certifications (BOSIET, HUET, offshore medical) preferred or must be obtainable

  • Proactive, team-oriented, and confident in independent field work

  • Available for offshore mobilisation for approx. 3 weeks in Aug/Sep 2025
