Work Schedule: 3 weeks on office/site, 1 week remote (rotation), 5 days per week

Job Brief:
An international engineering organisation is seeking an experienced Electrical Expeditor to support the delivery of a major industrial/energy project. This position involves expediting electrical equipment, materials, and documentation, ensuring supplier performance matches the project schedule, and proactively addressing risks to delivery. You will serve as a key link between procurement, engineering, vendors, and project teams to ensure complete visibility and effective package progress from purchase order through delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expedite electrical equipment and materials to keep projects on schedule
- Monitor supplier progress through manufacturing, inspection, and delivery
- Track and follow up on technical documentation (drawings, datasheets, test certificates, ITPs, manuals, etc.)
- Liaise with vendors to obtain updates, resolve delays, and drive performance
- Identify and escalate risks or delays impacting project delivery
- Coordinate with engineering and procurement teams to solve technical and commercial issues
- Monitor manufacturing status, FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing), and shipment readiness
- Support logistics coordination for timely site delivery
- Maintain expediting reports, trackers, and progress updates
- Participate in supplier meetings and progress reviews as needed
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and contractual obligations
Requirements and Skills:
- Degree in Engineering
- Experience in steel, mining and/or infrastructure sectors
- Proven track record as an Expeditor, Package Engineer, or Procurement/Expediting Specialist
- Strong experience in electrical equipment expediting (e.g., switchgear, transformers, MCCs, cables, panels)
- Experience on large-scale industrial, energy, or infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with EPC/EPCM project environments
- Experience with international suppliers
- Understanding of project schedules and delivery timelines
- Solid commercial understanding
- Experience with technically complex projects
- Willing to commute to northern Sweden 3 weeks per month
- Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera and/or Aconex
- Fluent in English
