Overview
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to manage and coordinate electrical maintenance across multiple facilities. The role is office-based, involves supervising maintenance teams, planning and executing works, and providing technical leadership for non-routine and high-value projects.
Key Responsibilities
Maintenance Management

Coordinate with all location Electrical Engineers to manage electrical maintenance for buildings and facilities

Direct and monitor planning, tendering, and execution of electrical maintenance works, ensuring cost optimisation and compliance with HSSE procedures

Provide technical guidance to subordinates for non-routine and high-cost maintenance works
Tendering and Contracts

Review and approve BOQs, scopes, and technical specifications of new tenders for submission to relevant authorities

Participate in pre-tender meetings and technical/commercial evaluations of contract bids

Prepare technical evaluation reports and provide clarifications as required
Site Mobilisation and Coordination

Coordinate contractor site mobilisation, including access permits, site offices, material storage, and accommodation

Ensure compliance with contract procedures and supervise orderly mobilisation of facilities, equipment, and manpower
Project Planning and Reporting

Develop and review maintenance procedures, guidelines, and work instructions within the division

Review and finalise SOWs, cost estimates, and technical specifications for non-routine and scheduled contracts

Plan and report on inspections of electrical works in buildings and facilities, ensuring final acceptance meets standards
Technical Development

Develop specifications for modifications or special requirements for facilities and industrial installations
-
Review local material sources and alternatives to ensure quality and availability

Coordinate with other sections for feasibility studies, work permits, and task assignments
Team Leadership

Set annual plans and SMART objectives for the Electrical team

Provide guidance, knowledge sharing, and on-the-job training for subordinates
Required Qualifications and Skills
-
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
-
10–12 years’ experience in electrical or instrument maintenance, including 7 years in a supervisory role
-
Experience in cost management, budgets, contracts, and tender preparation
-
Knowledge of local contractors and ability to understand other engineering disciplines
-
Strong communication, technical, and computer skills
-
Proven ability to plan, execute, and report electrical maintenance projects effectively
-
Familiarity with local and international standards and regulations
