Assignment Length: 16-Nov-2025 - 17-May-2026 with potential to extend for additional 1 year

Schedule : Monday to Friday - 7.50 Hours a day

Description:

1. Role Objective

We are seeking a proactive, flexible consultant to support multiple offshore wind farm projects across the Client's portfolio. The consultant will deliver high-quality power system studies, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and adapt to evolving project priorities and workloads.

2. Key Responsibilities

The consultant will support projects at various phases by conducting studies in PowerFactory and PSS/E. Scope includes:

  • Develop and validate detailed dynamic and steady-state models for key electrical assets (e.g., wind turbines, STATCOMs, synchronous condensers).
  • Perform analytical studies, including EMT and RMS analyses as needed by the project.
  • Verify system behaviour against TSO/grid code requirements; prepare technical documentation for grid code submissions and support the grid connection team.
  • Consolidate, interpret, and report study results; provide technical assessments and contribute to cross-functional tasks.
  • Execute tasks across multiple projects, prioritizing based on study requirements and project timelines.
  • Ensure all work aligns with the Client's internal guidelines, methodologies, and quality standards.
  • Manage multiple assignments concurrently, demonstrating a flexible mindset and adaptability to changing project demands (effort levels may vary over time).

3. Requirements:

  • Proven hands-on experience with PSS/E and DIgSILENT PowerFactory, including use of relevant add-ons and analysis modules.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in scripting within these platforms (e.g., Python for PSS/E; DPL, Python, or DSL for PowerFactory) to automate workflows and post-processing.
  • Familiarity with dynamic vendor models (e.g., wind turbine generators, STATCOMs, synchronous condensers) and their validation/parameterization.
  • Ability to work independently while following the Client's established methodologies, documentation standards, and QA processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce clear technical reports and stakeholder-facing materials.
  • Experience coordinating with OEMs for model delivery, validation, and updates.
  • No additional certifications required.
  • No travel required; the role is fully remote within Denmark (consultant must be physically in the country where the service is delivered)

3.1 Nice to Have (Optional)

  • Experience with EMT tools (e.g., PSCAD) and model equivalencing between RMS and EMT domains.
  • Knowledge of APAC/EMEA grid codes and TSO compliance processes.
