Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Specialist to support high-profile onshore and offshore energy projects across the Americas. The role focuses on commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting automatic voltage regulator (AVR) systems, ensuring safe and efficient project delivery in challenging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Commission, test, and troubleshoot AVR systems.
- Lead fault finding, optimisation, and performance validation of electrical systems.
- Prepare accurate commissioning documentation, reports, and handover packs.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary global project teams to deliver on time and within scope.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health, safety, and environmental standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Proven commissioning experience with AVR systems (specific OEM experience highly advantageous).
- Solid knowledge of electrical distribution, generator control, and protection systems.
- Previous offshore commissioning experience is desirable; BOSIET/FOET and HUET certifications would be an advantage.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
- Flexibility to travel extensively across the Americas region.
