We are seeking an experienced Lead Electrical Commissioning Engineer to join a dynamic and growing energy team. In this role, you will commission electrical systems, ensuring they meet design specifications, operational requirements, and safety standards. Key Responsibilities

Lead the commissioning of new assets, including PV arrays, heat pumps, and battery systems.

Develop commissioning plans, procedures, acceptance criteria, and good practice guidelines.

Oversee witness testing and acceptance testing of new assets.

Provide technical and engineering support across existing assets, such as CHPs, gas turbines, and boilers.

Support project managers to ensure successful project delivery.

Promote continuous improvement and maintain a strong safety culture.

Deliver technical training to colleagues and stakeholders.
Requirements

Significant experience in electrical commissioning within the energy sector.

Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification.

Chartered status with a recognised institute (IET preferred).

Strong understanding of electrical commissioning, quality assurance, and handover processes.

Knowledge of IET Wiring Regulations (BS7671).

Full, clean UK driving licence.
Desirable

High-voltage electrical experience.

Experience commissioning PV systems, heat pumps, and commercial battery assets.
