Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Inspector to join a dynamic team working on cutting-edge renewable energy projects based in the Netherlands. This role is suited for a hands-on professional who thrives in a site-based setting, has a keen eye for quality, and is familiar with E&I inspections in complex plant environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Inspect Electrical and Instrumentation installations in line with ITP/ITR requirements.

Review contractor ITPs, procedures, and technical documentation.

Sign off ITRs using project completions software.

Compile, manage, and approve test packs for systems.

Support site quality efforts with regular reporting to project leadership.

Attend site meetings with internal teams and contractors.

Adhere to all EH&S and site policies.

Manage and close out punch-lists and non-conformances.

Identify construction issues and suggest proactive solutions.

Prepare daily and weekly site reports.

Join walkdowns of site systems and support commissioning teams as needed.

Witness Site Acceptance Tests.
Additional Duties:

Support development of quality procedures and control plans.

Ensure inspection equipment is maintained and calibrated.

Stay up to date with industry developments, particularly in E&I and ATEX.

Provide input at project meetings regarding quality-related concerns.

Interpret supplier installation manuals and provide technical advice.
Requirements:

Educational background in Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering.

Valid ATEX certification.
-
Extensive experience in a similar QA/QC E&I role.

Background in onshore plant projects, preferably within energy or industrial sectors.

Strong ability to interpret technical drawings, site layouts, and supplier documentation.

Familiarity with industry regulations, safety standards, and inspection tools.

Proven track record maintaining accurate reports and documentation.

Strong communication, organisation, and time management skills.

Ability to operate independently and work collaboratively within a team.

Comfortable working full-time on a live construction site.
