ROLE: Electrical and Instrument Inspector

Start Date: 1 st December 2025

Contract Duration: Until 30 th November 2026 with potential to extend

Location: El Morell, Tarragona - Spain

Type of Contract: Residential Contract Role

Shift Pattern: 10 hours per day, 5 days per week (M-F). No Hybrid or work from home as this is a fully site based role.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Job responsibilities include:

  • Inspection of Electrical & Instrumentation installations per ITP/ITR requirements.
  • Review contractor ITPs, procedures, documents.
  • Sign off on the ITRs , working on the AP Completions software.
  • Compile, manage and sign off the test packs.
  • Assist Site Quality with relevant reporting to Project/Management.
  • Participate in site meetings (internal and contractor).
  • At all times, adhere to AP EH&S requirements & any site policy and restrictions
  • Manage and issue Punch-lists, Non-conformances and drive corrective actions
  • Foresee impediments, bring to the notice of site management and proactively suggest solutions
  • Create daily/weekly site reports
  • Accompany walk down of site systems
  • Managing punch-list & NCR resolution with site contractors
  • Assisting commissioning teams wherever required for closure of punch-points
  • Witness Site Acceptance Test

Other Salient Requirements:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
  • Participate in project meetings and provide input on quality issues.
  • Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of inspection equipment.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in welding technology.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting drawings, site maps, blueprints
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including construction sites.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and professional development
  • Ability to refer, interpret and advise implementation of E&I equipment supplier's instructions Manuals

Education / Trainings:

  • Primary education with a degree in Electrical or instrumentation background.
  • Trained & Certified to the relevant level of ATEX

Experience:

  • Significant Experience working in the oil and gas related industry on Onshore Plants.
  • Proven work experience as a Quality Control Inspector at sites.
  • The candidate must speak Spanish for this role.
