Principal Responsibilities
- Assume overall responsibility for the planning, scheduling and implementation of routine, non-routine and breakdown maintenance, to guarantee that service intervals are met and down-times are minimised.
- Development and control of annual maintenance budgets. Continues review of the budget to ensure planned activities are completed and department is run cost- efficiently.
- Management of the Maintenance team's performance. Compiling monthly management reports on maintenance activities, highlighting performance against planned inspections
- Responsible for stock and spares on site, delivering spares strategy and ensuring that critical spares are effectively managed.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment history, reports and certificates for the installed facilities ensuring they fully comply with the statutory legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all maintenance schedules and statutory inspections are carried out in accordance with planned programmes.
Qualifications and Experience
- Preferably a Professional qualification at Engineering Degree level
- Chartered engineering membership at member level or looking to attain full membership
- The ability to analyse and identify areas for improvement and to plan and manage their development
- Minimum of 10 years' experience in a Senior maintenance role
- Experience of UK and/or European gas/power operations min 10 years
- Good leadership experience is essential
