E&I Maintenance Technician

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Maintenance Technician to join a forward-thinking industrial team in Hertfordshire. Key Responsibilities:

Deliver preventative and reactive maintenance on electrical and instrumentation assets

Assist with installation, testing, and commissioning of new systems

Diagnose and resolve faults on pneumatics, PLCs (Allen Bradley), and variable speed drives

Ensure compliance with site safety standards and operational requirements

Work a rotating shift pattern with opportunities for overtime and on-call support
Requirements:

NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent trade certification)

Strong electrical background within heavy industry (energy, utilities, or process plants)

Proven experience in troubleshooting, PPM, and complex installations

Knowledge of PLCs, pneumatics, and drives

Ability to work effectively in a team and independently in a safety-critical environment
Desirable:

Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs

Previous maintenance experience in large-scale industrial facilities
