Client: Pioneering Green Steel Production Company

Assignment Type: Annually Renewable Contract Position

Location: Boden, Sweden

Work Schedule: Monday – Friday (8 hours per day)

Kintec are currently partnered with a pioneering Green Steel Production Company who are constructing a plant in Northern Sweden that will produce Green Steel – Green Steel production emits up to 95% less CO₂ compared conventional steel production.

Job Description

The Training Instructor will deliver both practical and theoretical training to construction personnel in line with industry standards and site safety regulations. The role plays a key part in developing workforce capability and ensuring full compliance with Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) requirements.

Key Accountabilities

  • Conduct EHS induction sessions for new site personnel

  • Deliver construction-related training, including:

    • Permit to Work (PTW)

    • Supervisor Training

    • Risk Assessment Training

    • Hazardous Chemicals Awareness

    • Excavation Safety Awareness

    • Other relevant safety topics as required

Knowledge, Education, Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in environmental, health and safety management, preferably within construction or heavy industry

  • Strong administrative and organisational skills

  • Good knowledge of construction health and safety standards

  • Experience delivering training to diverse and multicultural groups

  • Ability to adapt training methods to different learning styles and competency levels

  • Strong communication and presentation skills

  • Fluent in English

  • Additional language skills preferred: Russian, Polish, Latvian, Lithuanian, Estonian, Romanian, or Albanian

  • Relevant education or certification preferred (e.g. Training & Development, Occupational Health & Safety, NEBOSH, Train the Trainer, or equivalent)
