Diving Supervisor (AIR / SAT / ROV)

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Diving Supervisor to join a leading offshore project in Qatar. This role involves supervising diving operations-air, saturation, or ROV-supported-in support of subsea construction, inspection, repair, and maintenance tasks within the energy sector. This position requires strong leadership, offshore diving experience, and a solid understanding of international diving regulations and safety protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise all diving operations to ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and efficiency.
- Lead diving teams in air, SAT, or ROV-assisted missions, depending on the operational scope.
- Ensure diving systems and related equipment are properly maintained and fully operational.
- Conduct pre-dive briefings, risk assessments, and daily toolbox talks.
- Maintain comprehensive records, including dive logs, safety reports, and project documentation.
- Communicate effectively between offshore teams and onshore management.
- Enforce strict adherence to all HSE procedures and offshore safety practices.
- Support operational audits and implement corrective measures where needed.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members and technicians.
Requirements:
- IMCA-certified Diving Supervisor (Air and/or Bell/SAT).
- Significant offshore experience within the oil and gas industry.
- Solid operational background in air diving, saturation diving, or ROV operations.
- Excellent understanding of international diving regulations (e.g. IMCA, ADCI).
- Strong team leadership, communication, and safety management skills.
- Valid offshore medical certificate (e.g. OGUK or equivalent).
- BOSIET / FOET with CA-EBS certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Audit qualifications (e.g. IMCA or HSE auditor) are highly desirable.
Preferred Experience:
- 5+ years in a supervisory capacity on offshore diving projects.
- Experience in inspection, repair, and maintenance (IRM) scopes.
- Background working with major operators or EPC contractors.
- Familiarity with digital dive management and offshore reporting tools.
