Key responsibilities

  • Produce detailed technical drawings and layouts for service and maintenance projects

  • Translate engineering concepts and technical requirements into practical design solutions

  • Review, update, and maintain drawings to ensure accuracy and quality throughout the project lifecycle

  • Support project execution by delivering timely design updates and documentation

  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and service teams to resolve design challenges

  • Ensure all designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and safety requirements

  • Identify opportunities to improve design quality, efficiency, and processes

Required experience and qualifications

  • Associate degree in Drafting, Design Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Experience in an industrial, technical, or service-focused design environment

  • Strong ability to interpret technical specifications and documentation

  • High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Clear communication skills and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Desirable experience

  • Exposure to electrical and mechanical systems in industrial facilities

  • Experience supporting service, maintenance, or retrofit projects
