Service Dimensions & Overview
The Contract Engineer will support the GranMorgu Project by managing the full tendering lifecycle for Drilling & Wells and Logistics contracts. This includes strategy, documentation, negotiation, and contract finalization. The role ensures compliance with procurement policies and contributes to efficient project delivery with high HSE and cost performance standards.
Key Responsibilities

Promote exemplary behavior regarding Ethics, Code of Conduct, and Anti-Corruption Program.

Ensure all project contract and legal procedures are followed, especially in coordination with TEEP Suriname.

Observe and promote H3SE policy and ISO14001 compliance.
Contract Lifecycle Execution:

Receive and validate scopes of work from technical teams.

Develop contracting strategies and seek required approvals.

Draft and manage RFQ/CFT documents and bidder qualifications.

Lead bid evaluations, commercial negotiations, and contract award recommendations.

Finalize and hand over all contract documentation.

Coordinate with technical counterparts to align commercial and technical appendices.
Focus Areas:

Prepare the CFT package for integrated drilling services, emphasizing cost control and a robust commercial model.

Continuously propose process improvements and claims prevention strategies.

Consolidate contract lessons learned and REX documentation.
Candidate Profile
Education & Experience:
-
Minimum 10 years in contract engineering for E&P, with at least 5 years in Drilling & Wells contracts.

Prior experience working across the tendering, execution, and close-out phases.
Skills & Competencies:

Strong contractual, legal, and commercial understanding.

Solid grasp of both civil and common law systems.
