Residential / Rotation: 4 weeks on office/site, 1 week remote; 5 days per week

Job Brief
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract and Change Leader to oversee all commercial and legal aspects of contracts signed by our client with suppliers, lenders, investors, or partners. This role involves close collaboration with the client and cross-functional teams to address contractual issues including performance, obligations, risk, and mitigations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, business administration, or commercial law, and the ability to work under pressure in multicultural teams.
Key Responsibilities

Assist the Contract Manager and Project Managers in planning, integration, coordination, and control of PMC-related activities for assigned Construction Areas, Contracts, Units, or processes

Ensure compliance with client policies, strategies, and procedures for PMC contract execution

Direct the technical and operational fulfilment of the PMC contract, liaising with the client on work contracts within assigned areas

Establish and maintain technical and administrative relationships with the client and contractors to resolve issues arising from PMC contract execution

Integrate and manage human and material resources for PMC contract execution, coordinating with Contract & Change Engineers under your responsibility

Identify potential project risks early, develop mitigation plans, and report to the Contract Manager, Project Management, and steering committee

Coordinate work plans of the management team and PMC disciplines according to contract requirements

Ensure deliverables from the PMC management team meet contract requirements, quality standards, and procedures

Issue and sign formal communications regarding PMC contract execution for assigned Process Units

Participate in project and PMC contract review meetings, monitoring task completion by department and discipline leads

Perform other duties as designated by the Contract Manager or PMC Project Management
Required Qualifications and Experience

Minimum 12 years’ experience in contract management within Oil & Gas, Engineering & Construction, Steel, Mining, or Infrastructure sectors

Experience managing EPC contracts and/or participating in PMC/EPCM teams

Strong business and financial acumen

Experience in risk identification, mitigation planning, and contract compliance

Strong commercial understanding and experience on technically complex projects

Willingness to commute to northern Sweden for 3 weeks per month

Proficiency in MS Office, Primavera, and/or Aconex

Fluent in English
