Contract Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking a sharp and detail-oriented Contract Analyst to join our procurement and contracting team. In this role, you'll support the full contract lifecycle-from tender development to post-award administration-ensuring value, compliance, and efficiency in every step. Your insights into market intelligence, commodity pricing, and procurement strategy will help optimize service delivery and cost performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Contracting & Tendering
- Develop and manage tender documentation, embedding financial, commercial, technical, and HSE&Q standards.
- Lead and coordinate contract handovers, ensuring smooth transitions into post-award administration.
- Support clarification processes by reviewing and advising on tender and contract documents.
Contract Administration & Strategy
- Monitor compliance and performance against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and corporate objectives.
- Provide historical demand and spend analysis to inform sourcing strategies and optimize procurement.
- Assist in the execution of the annual demand plan, ensuring timely delivery and value maximization.
Market Intelligence & Risk Control
- Compile market intelligence and commodity price trends to support negotiations and procurement planning.
- Contribute to peer reviews, audits, and continuous improvement processes to uphold corporate controls.
- Support supplier relationship management and identify opportunities for improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a Commercial discipline.
- Minimum 6 years' experience in the oil and gas sector, with a focus on contracting and procurement.
- Solid knowledge of contract law, supplier relations, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to navigate cross-functional teams.
