JOB PURPOSE
Provide front-line safety and technical leadership, ensuring safe, effective, and efficient execution of electrical installation activities. This role is responsible for delivering work in line with the project schedule while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and technical standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide visible safety leadership and promote a culture of care and safety-first across all activities.

Review and comment on electrical technical and project-related documentation submitted by contractors.

Ensure compliance with company and contractual policies, regulations, and standards.

Apply contractual knowledge to engage with contractors on schedule, technical, and cost matters.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with contractors and internal functional teams.

Participate in planning and risk assessment meetings, supporting schedule mitigation and improvements.

Oversee safety processes by ensuring contractors complete regular site walk-throughs.

Attend on-site planning, safety meetings, and toolbox talks to clarify daily work activities.

Monitor construction progress, identifying and addressing constraints to maintain schedule.

Review contractors’ reports, analyse performance, and verify progress against targets.
REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Science or Engineering.

Minimum 8 years’ experience in construction-related disciplines within the oil and gas industry.

At least 1 year in a supervisory, acting, or vendor oversight role.

Strong understanding of design standards, specifications, codes, and safety criteria for large-scale projects.

Experience in fabrication, installation, hook-up, brownfield execution, and project completion.

Knowledge of offshore facilities, onshore facilities, or yard operations.

Familiarity with risks and execution methods for LNG and sour gas facilities.
-
Previous experience with major operators, contractors, or heavy construction companies.
