Shift Pattern:
9 hours per day, 5 days per week (M-F). No Hybrid or work from home as this is a fully site based role.

Job Description

  • Understand the project schedule, the schedule basis, and the work process to be followed for plan creation

  • Have detailed knowledge of the project scope report and execution strategy, including client reporting requirements to support project management

  • Work with Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, Procurement Managers, Construction Managers, Project Engineers and Lead Engineers to proactively develop and status the schedule

  • Develop fully integrated Baseline EPC Level 3 schedules

  • Utilise the AWP process and work alongside the construction team to develop Level 3 Construction schedule supported by Engineering and Procurement

  • Develop Construction Progress Measurement System (PMS)

  • Interface with subcontractors to ensure schedule alignment

  • Provide monthly updates of Project Master Level 3 schedules

  • Collect information and produce monthly Status Reports

  • Conduct Critical Path Analyses and recommend mitigating actions where necessary

  • Produce progress and productivity curves and earned value reporting

  • Produce and issue formal reports with input from Projects

  • Prepare ad hoc progress reports to facilitate effective controls within Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning

  • Provide statistical data for management reviews

  • Participate in regular project team reviews, Public Planning Meetings, and Last Planner Meetings

  • Initiate day-to-day discussions with all groups involved in the project to assess the change / schedule implication of ongoing work

  • Conduct schedule reduction exercises to provide ballpark schedule views for alternatives

  • Assist project team in developing action plans to avoid or minimise cost / schedule overruns

Key Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years major project planning engineering experience in a site environment, preferably in oil and gas industry

  • Experienced user of Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project

  • Demonstrated technical competency in the field of project planning

  • Very good oral and written communication skills

  • Proactive approach to work

  • Demonstrable interpersonal and team-building skills

  • Experience with Deltek Acumen Risk is an advantage

  • Fluent in English
