JOB TITLE: Construction Engineer

CLIENT: A prominent regional entity delivering end-to-end EPC solutions across marine infrastructure, offshore energy, and dredging operations.

LOCATION: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates

ASSIGNMENT TYPE: Permanent Hire Staff role/ Full Residential role in UAE

WORK SCHEDULE: 9 hours (including lunch break)- From 8am to 5pm- Monday to Friday (Saturday & Sunday are week off)

START DATE: Late 2025/ Early 2026 - Depending on successful candidates circumstances

Position Summary

We are seeking a Construction Engineer with offshore project experience to coordinate, monitor, and support construction activities during project execution. The role involves assisting the Offshore Construction Manager (OCM), ensuring quality, safety, and timely delivery across all phases of offshore works.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support preparation of construction aids, project deliverables, and execution plans.
  • Review engineering documents for constructability.
  • Coordinate procurement of offshore materials and follow up on deliveries.
  • Liaise with internal departments, subcontractors, third-party agencies, and marine surveyors.
  • Ensure implementation of HSE requirements and quality standards.
  • Assist in risk assessments, mobilization planning, and schedule updates.
  • Monitor daily offshore progress, attend operations meetings, and provide reports.
  • Support close-out activities including documentation and final reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, or Naval preferred).
  • Minimum 4 years of offshore construction experience.
  • Strong communication, reporting, and decision-making skills.
  • Knowledge of offshore operations and technical documentation.
  • Team-oriented and committed to project delivery.
