Condition Monitoring Analyst
Location: Onshore, Qatar (Ras Laffan / Doha HQ)
Contract Type: 1-year renewable contract
Schedule: Sunday to Thursday, 8–10 hours per day
Rotation: 12 weeks on / 2 weeks off (Single Status) or 30 days annual leave (Couple Status)
Start Date: ASAP
About the Role
We’re seeking an experienced Condition Monitoring Analyst to join a leading energy operator in Qatar. This position plays a key role during the EPC and start-up phase of major onshore operations, supporting the safe and efficient handover to permanent assets. The successful candidate will be responsible for early defect detection, troubleshooting, and ensuring the reliability and integrity of critical equipment.
Responsibilities

Execute condition monitoring activities in line with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Apply tools and techniques such as vibration analysis, lube oil analysis, thermography, and other predictive maintenance methods to identify failures and recommend corrective actions.

Support troubleshooting of machine anomalies and faulty instrumentation.

Maintain integrity of condition monitoring systems and databases, ensuring accurate and reliable data.

Analyse technical documentation and vendor information to support maintenance and reliability initiatives.

Contribute to the development of master data, preventive maintenance plans, and equipment strategies.

Prepare reports, performance analyses, and improvement recommendations for maintenance optimisation.

Collaborate with operations, engineering, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Uphold the highest standards of safety, health, and environmental compliance.

Support workforce development initiatives and adhere to all company compliance frameworks.
Requirements

Higher National Diploma (HND) in Engineering or a related technical discipline.

Minimum 4 years’ experience in condition monitoring within the oil and gas industry.

Hands-on expertise in predictive maintenance systems such as vibration monitoring, thermography, lube oil analysis, and reliability software platforms.

Proficiency with systems such as Bentley Nevada 3500, System 1, and similar technologies is highly advantageous.

Strong analytical, reporting, and troubleshooting skills.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and SAP.
