Due to recent project wins, we’re looking for a talented Concept Development Consultant with a strong background in the technical design of integrated renewable energy solutions.
In this role, you’ll take the lead on shaping the early-stage design of decarbonisation systems involving solar PV, battery energy storage (BESS), and wind technologies. If you're passionate about developing commercially smart, low-carbon energy systems that really make a difference—this is your stage.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and technical modelling of solar PV, BESS, and wind energy systems

Take ownership as a subject matter expert for renewable technologies, including emerging innovations and evolving regulations

Create feasibility assessments and concept designs that are technically robust, commercially sound, and tailored to client needs

Collaborate closely with internal teams—Commercial, Procurement, Legal, Engineering, and Project Management—to ensure solutions are viable and aligned with time, cost, quality, and safety objectives

Stay up to date with best practices, legislation, and design standards across renewable energy sectors

Build detailed technical models to simulate utility operations and uncover energy-saving opportunities
What We’re Looking For

Degree-qualified in Engineering or a related discipline (BEng, MEng, MSc)

Strong experience designing and developing renewable solutions, particularly across solar, wind, and energy storage systems

Proficiency in modelling tools such as EnergyPro, PVsyst, PV*Sol, RatedPower, or similar platforms

IOSH or NEBOSH General Certificate preferred

Ability to manage complex projects and solve technical and stakeholder-related challenges

Skilled in interpreting client needs and turning them into practical, scalable energy solutions
