Company Site Representative - Diving Support Vessel (DSV)

Location

Offshore Qatar (70% Offshore / 30% Onshore)

Contract Duration

36 months (possible extension)

Work Schedule

  • 28 days on / 28 days off rotation
  • 12-hour shifts, 7 days per week

Job Overview

  • Represent the company for offshore subsea and diving construction works on a Diving Support Vessel (DSV)
  • Ensure technical objectives, scope, schedule, and quality are met for offshore installation projects
  • Coordinate with project management, vessel teams, contractors, and external stakeholders 
  • Promote safety leadership and compliance with project standards

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage offshore diving and subsea construction works, ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, and quality
  • Act as site focal point for safety leadership and work execution oversight
  • Review contractor documents, submittals, and HAZID/Risk Assessment sessions
  • Inspect and audit marine vessels and equipment for suitability and operational readiness
  • Verify day-to-day operational status of vessels, installation equipment, and personnel 
  • Act as company Area Operator onboard CTR vessels in compliance with PTW processes
  • Set up and manage daily meetings with field personnel and contractors
  • Assess and audit contractor documentation for HSES, QA/QC, marine, environmental, and execution standards
  • Review and approve design changes, coordinate installation specifications, and manage exceptions per PMOC processes
  • Ensure close coordination on engineering, methods, constructability, and installation matters with project team

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Diploma in Engineering
  • Offshore training certifications from recognized industry bodies
  • OPITO H2S and T-BOSIET certification required
  • 10+ years' experience in offshore subsea installation discipline
  • Minimum 8 years in a supervisory role for diving-related works on DSVs
  • Experience in offshore installation & construction supervision with clients, EPCI contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors
  • Global experience with offshore production contractors
  • In-depth knowledge of stakeholder specifications and industry standards

Technical & Business Skills

  • High proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Strong computer literacy including professional office applications and some technical software
  • Ability to work onboard platforms or vessels
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, strong teamwork focus
