Job Title: Senior LNG Commissioning Engineer – Cold End & Storage

Assignment Type: Residential – Monthly living allowance paid on top of day rate
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Length: Annually Renewable
Working Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 hours/day
Project Context & Responsibilities

Commissioning Responsibility: Oversee commissioning of systems and subsystems for LNG Train Cold End and LNG Storage during preparation and execution phases, ensuring handover to Operations in proper condition.

Coordination: Collaborate with Engineering, Contracting, Procurement, Construction, and Operations teams to maintain progress and achieve Ready for Start-Up (RFSU) safely and on schedule.

Engineering Phase: Contribute to commissioning engineering deliverables and coordinate all parties for pre-commissioning and commissioning readiness.

Site Supervision: Supervise on-site commissioning activities and manage contractor interfaces.

Safety & Schedule Coordination: Ensure safe, timely engineering and execution by coordinating contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal project departments.

Asset Scope: Cold End of the Train, LNG Run-down Lines, and LNG Storage.

Supervision: No direct reports.
Goals & Deliverables

Ensure contractors meet all commissioning contract requirements for Cold End of the Train, LNG Run-down Lines, and LNG Storage.

Supervise preparation and scheduling of pre-commissioning and commissioning activities to achieve Mechanical Completion (MC), RFSU, and Ready for Loading (RFL) milestones safely and on time.

Verify that facilities meet all project specifications.

Coordinate witnessing of activities with Operations personnel and complete remaining commissioning scope post-hydrocarbon introduction under SIMOPS conditions.
Key Accountabilities

Provide feedback during engineering phase.

Supervise contractor activities and coordinate interfaces.

Ensure facilities are handed over to Operations in good condition.
Qualifications & Experience
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or higher in Process Engineering or equivalent.

Solid international experience and knowledge of APCI LNG Process and LNG Tanks.
Experience:
-
Minimum 15 years broad experience in onshore/offshore projects.

Minimum 10 years in supervisory roles, managing teams of five or more.
-
Minimum 10 years documented experience in commissioning Control and Instrumentation systems, including at least 5 years in senior roles.
