Job Title: Client Representative for Offshore Foundation Installation
Location: Offshore, Poland
Start Date: ASAP
End Date: 31st October 2026 (Possible Extension)
Work Schedule: 9 hours per day, 45 hours per week
Job Description
Objective
- Ensure the offshore foundation installation work is executed in accordance with:
- Approved Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS)
- Any approved Management of Change (MoC) issued during the project
- Project quality, safety (QHSE), and schedule requirements
- Provide clear and consistent daily progress reporting and ensure timely escalation of issues.
- Act, behave, and lead by example according to company values.
Key Responsibilities
Compliance Oversight
- Review and understand RAMS and QHSE documents before execution phase begins and keep updated on changes.
- Ensure the Contractor is working according to approved RAMS and any approved MoC.
- Verify implementation of safety protocols and risk mitigation, including participation in safety walks, heavy-lift meetings, and last-minute risk assessments.
Daily Progress Reporting
- Track progress of installation and vessel activities.
- Prepare and distribute Daily Progress Reports (DPR) as required.
- Review and ensure DPRs are signed by all required parties.
Coordination
- Attend daily meetings, toolbox talks, and other discussions to ensure safe and high-quality execution.
- Act as point of contact between the company, contractors, and stakeholders, including 3rd-party representatives.
- Communicate issues and support timely resolution.
QHSE Oversight
- Participate in joint safety walks with company and Contractor HSE representatives.
- Track submitted incident reports and, where relevant, review the content and outcomes of incident reports.
Quality Assurance
- Monitor compliance with QHSE requirements and ensure the Contractor proactively manages safety and quality.
- Conduct on-site inspections, document any quality issues, and support corrective actions.
Documentation
- Maintain detailed records (logs, incidents, deviations) and submit required reports promptly.
- Review and, if applicable, sign off as-built reports for MP installation.
- Conduct Synergi reporting where required by package or project.
Timesheets
- Check and sign daily/weekly/monthly timesheets for Employer's contractor personnel (excluding Main Installation Contractor personnel).
Decision Authority / Responsibility
- The Client Representative will visually inspect offshore work in progress and ensure it is carried out in accordance with approved RAMS.
- Holds no contractual authority, except the authority to intervene or stop operations in cases where:
- Safety is compromised
- Quality standards are infringed
- Procedures are not being followed by the Contractor

Requirements
Essential
- Polish Occupational Health Certification (Badania Medycyny Pracy) - Referral to be issued.
- BHP Certification - The Project's HSE Advisors will recommend a course to be completed before the assignment starts.
- Offshore wind experience (foundation installation focus)
- Knowledge of RAMS, offshore QHSE, and installation best practices
- Required QHSE & Offshore Certifications:
- GWO: Sea Survival, Working at Heights, Enhanced First Aid (EFA), Fire Awareness, Manual Handling
- Medical certificate including Chester Step Test
- HUET, STCW 2010, OPITO or BOSIET and EBS (STASS, HEED, or EBS)
- Chester Step Test
- IOSH Managing Safely or similar HSE training
Recommended
- Previous offshore installation experience
- Marine awareness qualifications as required for the role
- IT proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet)
- Experience with DPR and Synergi
