Client Representative - Onshore Site Supervision and Mobilization
Project: Wind Farm
Location: Port of Tyne, Newcastle, UK
Objective
Ensure all onshore site operations are executed in accordance with:
- Approved Risk Assessment and Method Statement (RAMS)
- Any approved Management of Change (MoC) issued during the project
- Project quality, safety (QHSE), and schedule requirements
Provide clear and consistent progress reporting when site activities are carried out and ensure timely escalation of issues.
Task examples:
- Review and comment on the contractor's documentation for site activities
- Review lifting plans and rigging drawings
- Participate in kick-off meetings and toolbox and/or heavy lift meetings
- Coordinate daily site activities in cooperation with Contractor's representative
- Assist other Project packages with site coordination and onboarding of 3 rd party contractors on site.
- Assist with setting up templates for DPR reports for the following offshore installation scope based on learnings from onsite testing activities
- Support with more general review and check of Contractors documentation for the upcoming Offshore installation campaign and help to implement lessons learned.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Oversight: Review and understand RAMS and QHSE documents as required before execution phase commences and keep updated on changes in the documents.
- Ensure that the contractor is working according to the approved RAMS and any approved MoC. Verify proper implementation of safety protocols and risk mitigation (including attending safety walks, heavy lift meetings or any last-minute risk assessments).
- Daily Progress Reporting: Track the progress of site mobilization, logistics, and construction readiness. Report milestones, issues, safety observations, and deviations.
- Coordination: Act as the point of contact between the client, contractors, and any 3 rd party stakeholders, including i.e. MWS. Communicate issues and assist in timely resolution.
- QHSE Oversight: Monitor compliance with Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental (QHSE) requirements and contractors HSE management plans. Keep track of the submitted incident reports and potentially review outcomes content of indecent reports
- Quality Assurance: Conduct on-site inspections, document any quality issues, and support implementation of corrective actions.
- Documentation: Maintain inspection records and submit required progress reports. Review and sign off on as-built records of the MP/SS installation and commissioning (if applicable).

Qualifications:
- Knowledge of RAMS, onshore QHSE, and site management best practices
- Relevant QHSE and onshore work safety certifications
Required certifications:
- GWO courses: Working at Heights, First Aid, Fire Awareness, Manual Handling
- Medical certificate including chester step
Recommended certificates and experience:
- Previous experience from offshore installation scopes
- IT proficient (Microsoft Word, Excel and Internet); DPR and Synergi
Reporting Line:
- Reports to the Offshore installation manager and Project manager.
- Collaborates with the onshore construction team, QHSE, and Technical Quality Team.
Timeframe:
- The scope of work will be performed on an ad-hoc request basis, in alignment with the Project Team.
- Project Team reserves the right to offer an extension based on actual project progress during the project.
