Assignment Description
An established industrial company headquartered in Ljungaverk is seeking a highly skilled Chief Accountant to join their team. The company is renowned for manufacturing, sales, research, and development of advanced ceramic materials used in challenging industrial environments. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and manage monthly and annual closings
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Prepare annual reports and handle tax filings
- Manage VAT and tax-related issues
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Develop and optimize accounting procedures
- Serve as the main point of contact for auditors and authorities
- Supervise accounts receivable and accounts payable
Requirements
- Fluent in English
- University degree in finance or accounting
- Several years' experience in advanced accounting roles
- Deep understanding of accounting principles and regulatory standards
- Skilled in ERP systems and Excel
- Experience in international business and large corporate groups is a plus
