Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support renewable energy project delivery in Paris. The role provides technical support across the full project lifecycle, including onshore wind, solar PV, BESS, and hybrid energy solutions. The Project Engineer will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure technical design, permitting, and execution plans are optimised and delivered efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development of project layouts, energy yield assessments, and feasibility studies
- Prepare technical documentation, including specifications, design briefs, and scope of work
- Support permitting processes and regulatory submissions
- Coordinate technical activities across internal teams and third-party consultants
- Provide engineering input to equipment selection and technical evaluations
- Review design deliverables, drawings, and models for compliance with standards
- Support construction monitoring and commissioning activities as required
- Participate in technical meetings and progress reviews with stakeholders
Requirements
- Previous experience in project engineering within the renewable energy sector
- Strong technical skills in renewable technologies such as wind, solar, BESS, or hybrid systems
- Understanding of project permitting and regulatory processes
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficiency in reviewing technical documentation and ensuring compliance with relevant standards
