JOB TITLE: CBM (Condition Based Monitoring) Engineer

Work Location: Full Time Onshore
Scope of Work:
- Provide advanced condition and reliability monitoring for critical equipment and ensure the required corrective actions are initiated
- Collaborate with CBM teams and activities including reviewing and approving CBM reports and corrective actions
- Participate and facilitate equipment root cause analysis (RCA) as relevant
- Contribute to the development of digital tools for more efficient CBM maintenance execution and follow-up
- Participate in continuous improvement of existing condition monitoring tools and implementation of new solutions to support CBM strategies
- Participate in and provide feedback for user acceptance testing (UAT) of CBM-related applications and equipment
- Manage and execute in-house improvement projects
- Participate in the development, analysis, and reporting of defined CBM and reliability KPIs
- Report on the condition and availability of critical equipment (including MTTR, MTBF, and failure rates)
- Identify bad actors and propose improvements
- Review vibration monitoring reports issued by specialists and ensure actions are followed-up for machines flagged with fair/critical condition after evaluating recommendations
- Support optimization of preventive maintenance programs, ensuring correct maintenance at the right time and with the right efforts (e.g., from schedule-based to condition-based maintenance)
- Monitor equipment running policies to maximize equipment availability and reduce maintenance costs
- Perform periodic reliability analysis of equipment based on failure rate from maintenance management systems and propose adjustments to preventive maintenance frequency accordingly
- Manage the CBM system including data quality and consistency; act as Lead User, facilitate training, and provide first line assistance
- Update and communicate business processes and documentation
- Collaborate with other maintenance disciplines as required
- Fulfil ad hoc assignments as required

Background/Qualifications/Experience:
Professional Qualifications:
- BA or MSc degree in a relevant discipline, or equivalent level acquired through experience
- Strong knowledge of production equipment and related maintenance techniques
- 10-15 years of professional experience in maintenance support within the oil and gas industry
- Ability to understand, explain, and present complex technical material to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Deep understanding of equipment failure mechanisms and effects

- Structured, quality-conscious, process-oriented with a results-driven approach and attitude
- Ability to influence without authority and collaborate with various stakeholders
- Approachable with good listening and communication skills
Training Requirement:
- No specific courses required, but knowledge of vibration analysis is an advantage
