Business & Project Management Analyst (4–6 Years’ Experience)

Location: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

We are seeking a driven and detail-oriented Business & Project Management Analyst to support enterprise-wide initiatives across strategy, performance, project, and process management. This role is ideal for professionals with a structured approach, strong analytical skills, and a passion for continuous improvement.

Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to execute business and project management processes in alignment with established methodologies and frameworks. You will support internal stakeholders across departments and projects to ensure organisational goals and strategic targets are achieved.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy Management

  • Conduct internal and external analysis to identify strategic strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities

  • Assist in the definition and alignment of strategic goals with departmental objectives

Performance Management

  • Support departments and projects in setting goals and KPIs

  • Validate KPI calculations and maintain accurate updates in the system

  • Coordinate and support regular results-based review meetings

Project Management

  • Guide teams in preparing and maintaining project plans

  • Monitor progress and ensure updates are captured across key project areas: schedule, cost, quality, scope, communication, risk, resources, and stakeholders

Process Management

  • Collaborate with departments to map processes using standard notation

  • Identify gaps and improvement opportunities in current practices

  • Support preparation and quality assurance of Integrated Management System (IMS) documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Digital, IT or a related field

  • 4 to 6 years of relevant experience

Preferred Certifications

  • PMP (Project Management Professional)

Technical Competencies

Essential

  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) – Advanced

  • Microsoft Visio – Intermediate

Preferred

  • Microsoft Project

  • VBA for Excel

  • Alteryx

  • Lean Six Sigma
