Overview

We are seeking a Billing Analyst to join a leading energy services organization on a contract basis. The role will focus on supporting billing operations, ensuring accuracy, and resolving issues that impact customer accounts. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor unbilled reporting to ensure accurate and timely invoicing for commercial and industrial customers
  • Research and resolve billing disputes, providing timely resolutions
  • Apply sound business judgement in addressing customer issues, billing problems, and data requests
  • Update and review daily reports to support operational processes
  • Assist in gathering requirements and testing new system developments to improve billing, reporting, and customer experience
  • Implement quality control measures for outgoing invoices
  • Collaborate across teams to improve end-to-end delivery processes
  • Maintain communication with compliance to meet all regulatory and internal requirements
  • Support the achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Assist in training new team members and updating training documentation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field; or 4 years of directly relevant experience in lieu of degree
  • 0-2 years of analytical experience in a business environment
  • Prior billing experience strongly preferred
  • Exposure to billing or operations across multiple markets is a plus
  • Experience with SQL, macros, or MS Access is an advantage
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
