Job Title: AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer
Location: Warsaw, Poland (3 days per week in-office, remote on other days)

Job Summary:
A leading global green energy company is embarking on an ambitious project to migrate a substantial portion of its application landscape to Amazon Web Services (AWS). To support this initiative, a dedicated AWS Migration Programme has been established, consisting of several specialized teams responsible for moving applications and infrastructure from on-premises and Azure environments to AWS.
The role is based in Warsaw, Poland, with a requirement to be in the office three days per week (Wednesday, Thursday, Friday), with remote work on the remaining days.
Key Responsibilities:

Drive and support the migration of applications from on-premises and multi-cloud environments (specifically Azure) to AWS.

Collaborate closely with Agile Release Trains and IT Product Lines to deliver the technical services and products needed for the migration.

Ensure that migration processes follow best practices for AWS services, focusing on EC2, RDS, EKS, and IAM.

Work with a team of experts to coordinate and execute Rehost and Replatform migration strategies.

Engage with stakeholders to ensure alignment on technical objectives and milestones.

Optimise AWS resources for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.

Implement and manage DevOps tools and practices, including Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Utilise AWS Landing Zone Accelerator tools for automating core service setup.
Requirements:

Extensive experience with AWS services such as EC2, RDS, EKS, and IAM.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate, Professional, or equivalent certifications.

Strong expertise in AWS migration services, including Datasync, DMS, and SCT, particularly in multi-cloud environments involving Microsoft Azure.

Demonstrated experience in migrating large-scale applications and infrastructure, with a focus on core infrastructure and database migrations.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to align technical objectives with business needs and engage with stakeholders.

Proficiency in DevOps tools and practices, including Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with AWS Landing Zone Accelerator tools for automating AWS service setup.

Experience with AKS to EKS migration is a plus but not essential.
